34th Caradoc Classic Fell Race
FRA Category B Short. The first race in the 2019 Outdoor Depot sponsored Shropshire Summer Series. Minimum race age 14 years on the day of the race.
There is a shorter race for younger juniors during the senior race, for anyone over 9 years of age on the day..
5.6 km, 268m ascent. The race route is a circuit up and down Caer Caradoc, near Church Stretton. Starting from GR 455937. No toilets.
The venue for registration and presentations is the Russells Meadow Community Sports Pavilion on Lutwyche Road which is a left turn after Essex Road, Church Stretton. ( First right after the railway bridge from the A49 traffic lights. )
Car parking on the small car park is free after 6 pm or there is street parking. Sorry no bar at this venue, but showers and changing rooms, several pubs in Church Stretton.
